How we dispatch research compounds and how to request a return or refund.

This policy covers dispatch and delivery of orders placed on claritaspeptides.com and the conditions under which returns and refunds are accepted. All products are research compounds supplied strictly for laboratory research use only. Please read this policy before placing an order.

Order Processing & Dispatch

Orders are processed on business days (Monday to Friday, excluding UK public holidays).

  • Dispatch timeframe — Orders placed before 5pm on a business day are dispatched the next business day. Orders placed after the cut-off, or on a weekend or public holiday, are treated as received on the next business day for dispatch purposes.
  • Order confirmation — You will receive an order confirmation email upon acceptance of your order, and a dispatch notification with tracking information once your order has been collected by our carrier.
  • Order amendments — We are unable to amend or cancel an order once it has been dispatched. If you need to make changes, contact us as soon as possible after placing your order.

Delivery Options

We currently ship to addresses within the United Kingdom only. We offer the following tracked delivery services:

Free standard delivery is available on all orders.

Delivery estimates begin from the date of dispatch and are provided by our carrier as guidance only. They are not guaranteed delivery dates. We are not liable for carrier delays outside our control.

Packaging & Condition on Arrival

All orders are packaged to maintain product integrity during transit. Research compounds are dispatched in sealed, labelled containers appropriate to their storage requirements.

  • Outer packaging — Orders are packed in plain, discreet outer packaging with no product-specific branding visible externally.
  • Product labelling — Each item is labelled with the compound name, batch reference, quantity, storage conditions, and research-use-only designation.
  • Temperature-sensitive compounds — Where appropriate, orders are dispatched with insulated packaging. Prolonged transit delays outside our control may affect temperature-sensitive products; we recommend inspecting your order promptly on arrival.

Failed & Undeliverable Orders

  • Incorrect address — We are not responsible for non-delivery caused by an incorrect or incomplete delivery address provided at checkout. Please ensure your address is accurate before submitting your order.
  • Failed delivery attempt — If our carrier is unable to deliver, they will leave a delivery notification with instructions for rearranging delivery or collecting from a local depot. Parcels not collected or redelivered within the carrier's holding period may be returned to us.
  • Returned parcels — If an order is returned to us due to a failed delivery, we will contact you to arrange redelivery. Additional delivery charges may apply. If redelivery cannot be arranged within a reasonable period, we reserve the right to cancel the order; a refund will be issued minus the original delivery cost.

Risk of Loss

Risk in the products passes to you upon delivery to the address specified at checkout. If you authorise delivery to a safe location or with a neighbour, risk passes at the point of that delivery.

If your tracking information shows a parcel as delivered but you have not received it, please contact us within 48 hours of the stated delivery time so we can raise an investigation with our carrier.

Returns & Refunds

Returns Eligibility

You may request a return within 14 days of the delivery date, subject to the conditions set out in Clause 07. To be eligible, you must notify us of your intention to return before the window expires.

Returns are accepted on the following basis:

  • The product is unopened and in its original sealed condition
  • The product has been stored correctly since delivery, in accordance with the storage conditions stated on the label
  • The return is initiated within the eligible window and confirmed by us in writing before goods are sent back
Due to the nature of research compounds, we are unable to accept returns of products that have been opened, used, or stored outside their specified conditions. This restriction exists to maintain the integrity of our product catalogue and the safety of our handling processes.

Condition Requirements

Returned products must meet all of the following conditions to be accepted:

  • Unopened — original tamper-evident seal intact and undamaged
  • In original packaging with label intact and legible
  • Free from signs of damage, contamination, or improper storage
  • Accompanied by your order number and a brief reason for return

We reserve the right to reject a return and return goods to you at your cost if, upon inspection, the condition requirements are not met.

How to Initiate a Return

  • Step 1 — Contact us at support@claritaspeptides.com with your order number and the item(s) you wish to return. Do not send goods before receiving written confirmation from us.
  • Step 2 — We will review your request and respond within 2 business days. If your return is approved, we will provide a returns authorisation reference and the return address.
  • Step 3 — Ship the item(s) back using a tracked service. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to a fault or error on our part. We recommend retaining proof of postage.
  • Step 4 — Once we receive and inspect the returned item(s), we will confirm acceptance and process your refund.

Refund Method & Timeline

  • Refund method — Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method used at checkout. We are unable to issue refunds to a different card or account.
  • Processing time — Refunds are processed within 5 business days of receiving and inspecting the returned goods. Your bank or card issuer may take additional time to credit your account.
  • Original delivery charge — Where a return is made under your right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, your standard delivery charge will be refunded. Upgrade delivery costs (e.g. next day) are non-refundable.
  • Partial refunds — Where a return is partially accepted (e.g. one item from a multi-item order), a partial refund will be issued for the accepted items only.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return under any circumstances:

  • Products that have been opened, used, or where the tamper-evident seal has been broken
  • Products that show signs of improper storage, damage caused after delivery, or contamination
  • Products returned without prior written authorisation from us
  • Products returned outside the eligible returns window
  • Bacteriostatic water and reconstitution supplies

Damaged or Incorrect Orders

If your order arrives damaged in transit, or if you receive an incorrect item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at support@claritaspeptides.com with:

  • Your order number
  • A description of the damage or error
  • Photographs of the outer packaging and the affected product(s)

For confirmed damaged or incorrect orders, we will arrange a replacement or issue a full refund at our discretion, including any delivery charges. We may request that damaged goods are returned before issuing a replacement; we will provide a prepaid returns label in such cases.

Your Statutory Rights

Nothing in this Shipping & Returns Policy affects your statutory rights under applicable UK law, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

Where you are a consumer and exercise your right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have 14 days from the day after delivery to notify us of your intention to cancel, and a further 14 days from that notification to return the goods. Goods must be returned in their original, sealed condition. We will issue a full refund including standard delivery costs within 14 days of receiving the returned goods.

Statutory rights under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 apply to consumer purchases. If you are purchasing in a business capacity, different terms may apply. If you are unsure, please contact us before placing your order.
